Professor Song Yong-sang (Gynecology and Gynecology) is one of the nation's top names in cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer, which are called the three major gynecological cancers.
In particular, Professor Song revealed the relationship between native genetic mutations in Koreans and the human papilloma virus (HPV), the cause of cervical cancer, and identified a self-test method using the human papilloma virus for the first time.
Professor Song, a graduate of Seoul National University's medical school, completed a molecular biology research training course at Wyoming State University in the United States after obtaining a master's and doctorate degree from the graduate school.Since then, he has worked as a research director at Seoul National University, honorary director of women's oncology at Henan University Cancer Hospital in China, and honorary professor at Guangdong Medical University in China.
Internationally, he also carried out various activities, including serving as the first chairman of the International Cancer Precision Medicine Association, which includes experts in cancer precision medicine from 15 countries around the world, including Korea, the United States, Canada, Japan and France.
