Myongji Hospital supports medically underprivileged people
Myongji Hospital said it would help reduce the medical service gap and support health promotion for the medically underprivileged at home and abroad, in partnership with Global Care, a nongovernmental organization for international healthcare.
On Tuesday, the hospital signed a business agreement with Global Care to support the medically vulnerable people at the New Horizon Healing Center at the hospital in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Under the accord, both organizations plan to provide high-quality health care services to the medically underprivileged here and abroad. They also plan to engage in disaster medical relief activities targeting natural disasters or conflict areas.
“Myongji Hospital has been practicing social contribution and love-sharing based on the founding spirit of leaving no one feeling left out for being sick,” Myongji Hospital Director-General Kim Sae-chul said. “We will continue to cooperate with Global Care for the underprivileged in the medical blind spot.”
